This book is a compilation of resources, tools, and templates to help inventors who are thinking about commercializing their technologies to learn more about the process and their options. It is meant to be a practical guide. The first eleven chapters are broken down into modules, each of which discusses a different aspect that you'll need to consider in building a venture or developing an idea. Each module contains a list of next steps that you can take immediately to move ahead in the particular area discussed in the module. In addition, each module includes a special section for social entrepreneurs, which describes how the module applies to innovators interested in socially responsible ventures. At the end of the book, you will find lists of helpful resources for each of the modules, as well as tools and templates that you can fill out.
